How we use data storage

PriceLens NZ uses three types of data storage on your device:

1. Essential cookies — used only for login sessions. These are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
2. localStorage — tracks free plan usage such as claims used, wishlist items, and alerts. This data is stored on your device only and is never sent to our servers.
3. Analytics — anonymous page view data to help us understand how people use PriceLens. No personal data is collected.

What we do not do

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioural targeting. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Managing your preferences

You can clear localStorage and cookies at any time through your browser settings. If you choose to block essential cookies, some features like login sessions may not work correctly.
